RP story: Lost in Shadows

Comar stared blankly into nothingness.
His green eyes glowing faintly from the fel energy, but all there was to be seen in his eyes was a green so dark they might as well have been pitch black.

He read the lines again. The letter Samsin written crumbled in his hand as his gaze trailed the neat lettering over and over, trying to understand, trying to grasp the meaning of what was written.

''My deepest condoleances on the loss of your children. I can only begin to imagine your pain.''



The words burned in his mind.
He had not known. Not been told. The time spent on his chamber..and no one had.. bothered.
the page crumbled in his hand as his knuckles whitened around it.

Shadows danced over his features, darkening his face as he closed his eyes in pain.
Everything he ever knew of happiness and love had now been taken away from him.
The love of the mother.. her words of marriage.. then promise of caring for their children..

He turned towards the gates of silvermoon. His eyes glowing sickly green as the rumor reached his ear.. ''Raethe and Logarn is getting married.''


Agonized he threw the letter aside.

Lost.. Everything lost.. torn away from him in the same moment as a glimpse of happines was seen at the horizon. He shut his eyes for a moment, feeling the warmth of the only love he ever felt slowly die inside.

..The final blow of losing the only thing dear to him.
His unborn children brutally murdered.
All that was left now was darkness.

Darkness, and vengeance.
